Event Description

We will be building a "Wall" symbolically decorated with all the different forms of hate and then TEARING IT DOWN! The symbols will represent, race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, handicap, political affiliation, financial status and age. Each layer of the wall represents a generation. The "Walls of Hate" that divide us were built by one generation after another passing on attitudes of hate or intolerance to the next. In a ceremonious event, participants will sign their name to a brick and remove it, themselves, from this practice. We are asking that the bricks be donated back so they may be taken out of the negative and re-dedicated to a positive purpose.
